Stanley Kirk Burrell gets hammered to death BY JAEHA KIM
Tracy, CA Stanley Kirk Burrell, the 51-year-old rapper and entrepreneur, known professionally as M.C. Hammer, was found brutally hammered to death in his house on Monday.
After conducting various tests with the corpse, and looking at a series of twitter posts and Facebook messages, policemen from the Californian County suspect that Mr. Burrell was murdered on Monday morning by an anti-fan who took the name of XHammerX online.
Although the tracking of the suspect is difficult at the moment due to technical difficulties, and lack of evidence, Californias Police Superintendent ensures that justice will be served for Mr. Burrell as soon as possible.
Mr. Burrell was born on March 30, 1962 in Oakland, California to a poor family. Starting in a Christian rap group The Holy Boys, his music career boomed after he released his first debut album Feel My Power. Continued with several other hit albums such as Ring Em and hit songs such as U Cant Touch This, Mr. Burrell continued to gain popularity throughout the nation.
Within five years after the releasing of his first album, Mr. Burrell was world-famous with a total of 11 American Music Awards and 8 Grammy Awards.
Possibly because he was the icon of hope to so many, Mr. Burrell has assisted many different charities both directly and financially by hosting several concerts and events (such as the Kick-A-Thon for Humanity). Through these events he was able to show his passion for helping children, eventually earning him the World Wide Humanitarian Award on October 16, 2010.
As for his most recent event, Mr. Burrell performed at Jacks 7th Show on September 12, 2012 to fund the autistic organization TACA (Talk About Curing Autism).
There are four people in the universe who changed the whole world through dancing and music, Michael Jackson, MC Hammer, and Psy. said Stefan Adamek, 61, the producer of Mr. Burrells most famous single, Cant touch this. To lose yet another one of these dancers is not only a loss of an individual but also a great loss for pop culture and humanity itself. The body of Mr. Burrell has been taken to Fouches Hudson Funeral Home in Oakland, CA, his hometown. The service is expected to take place on February 2, 2013, the release date of his greatest hit album, Please Hammer, Dont Hurt Em.
