    translatedourpacesintointoinchesandputthemonthemap.Thebearingswethenputon
    themapbymeasuringthedegreeswithaprotractorfacingourmapnorthandmeasured
    theinchesandmadeourpoints.Googleearthhelpedusmeasurethecontourlineby
    mappingourpointsongoogleearthwithlatitudeandlongitude.Wethenmadeapentagon
    fromeachpointandfilleditin.Thenwemadeitrelativetosealevelandmovedthemeters
    fromthesealevelandfoundthecontourlines.Contourlinesarelinesthatshowthealtitude
    ofamapandthecloserthatthelinesaretogetherthesteeperthelandisandvisaversa
    thefartheraparttheyarethemorelevelthelandis.Youwouldneedcontourlinesonamap
    sothatyoucanseemaybetheeasierwaytotravelthroughsoyoudonthavetogoupand
    downsomuch.Thisprojecthelpedshowustherelativesizeoflandandhowmuchsmallit
    isonpaper.
