22- Summary: it starts off they are in court. The court is

silent and they begin. Three people that about to be
judged walk in. a lawyer in the name of God says that
Absalom will plead guilty in that he did not commit
murder but he did commit culpable homicide. Kumalo
walk in to see his son.
23- Summary: it starts off in court. They talk about how
murdered Arthur Jarvis. They talk about the work in the
mines. They talk about Johannesburg.
24- Summary: it starts off with the case of Jarvis’s death.
And goes on to tell us what happened the night of the
murder.
25- Summary: it starts off with talk about the murder.
They recall Jarvis going to visit his family.
26- Summary: it starts off with more talk about what
happened in night of the murder. It goes on to tell us
about loud noises and a great crowd.
27- Summary: it starts off with Gertrude and Mrs. Lithebe
going to visit someone. And they talk about the murder.
28- Summary: in the court it goes on to tell us that
Absalom did kill the Jarvis but he did not mean to. And
that he is sentenced to be hanged.
29- Summary: Absalom get married in the jail. They
have a party. Gertrud runs away.
