—Australia is a country in the Southern Hemisphere.

—It has the world’s smallest continental inland.

—Also, some neighboring countries are Indonesia, East


Timor, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands,
Vanuatu, New Caledonia and New Zealand.

—It is the world’s smallest continent but is the sixth
largest country.

—The Great Barrier Reef, which is the world’s largest


coral reef, is located a short distance off the shores
of Australia.

—The largest part of Australia, is known as the outback,


which is basically a desert type of land.

—In Northern Australia, they can sometimes get cyclones


during seasonal tropical lows.

—Mostly, Australia is covered by the outback.

—But there are many different habitats, such as tropical


forests.

—Australia also has the greatest number of reptile species


of any country, to be exact, they have 755 species of
reptile there.

— English is the national dialect, however; Australians have their own


distinctive accent.

— The minor languages spoken are Chinese, Italian, and Greek.

— Australia does not have an official religion but 64% are Christians.

— Altogether, most children has at least 13 years of school.

— The adult literacy rate is 99%.

— Australia’s education system is ranked 8th in the world.

— There are not many health issues in Australia because health care is
fairly good.

—New Zealand is an island country, in the south western
Pacific Ocean.

—It consists of 2 main landmasses commonly called North


Island, and South Island, and the rest of the islands
are smaller, and the surround the main lands.

—New Zealand consists of 2 main landmasses.

—The South Island is the largest of all the Islands, and it is


divided by the Southern Alps.

—The North Island isn't has mountainous has the south


island.

—The latitude  of New Zealand is 34 to 47 degrees, it


corresponds closely to Italy in the Northern
Hemisphere.
Environment!
—The climate throughout New Zealand is mild and
temperate.

—The temperature rarely drops below 32 F and rarely gets


hotter then 86 F.

—The main language is English.

—In New Zealand Christianity is the dominant religion


56%, for no religion at all it is 35%, and any other
religion is 5%.

—New Zealand has a population of about 4.2 million


people, with 78% of those people are said to be
European Ethnic.
