Dear Mrs. McCarthy,
We would like to thank you for allowing us to have our lemonade stand benefiting heart disease
in front of your home. This lemonade stand was a part of our take action project in science
class. We are proud to say that we raised $25.00 to go towards funding heart disease. The
money we raised was donated to the American Heart Association, which is a non-profitable,
voluntary organization that is devoted to fighting forms of heart disease. Thanks to you, people
will become more educated on the topic of heart disease and someone's life will be saved. Our
lemonade stand was a great success and we were very happy that we got to donate the money
we raised to such a wonderful organization. We would not have been able to do this without
your generosity. Thanks again!
