sophie and sydney and suzy and sam
went down to the river (and saw the dam)

and sophie discovered a beaver that slept
so quiet she couLdn't help but stay, and

sydney befriended a lOne butterfly
whose wings many colors were;

and suzy was chased by a horrible thing
which raced down while pushing waVes: and

sam camE home with a long rugged stick
as large as a herself as small as a tic.

for whatever we love (like and you or a me)
its always in our heart where we find glee
