Schoology

Schoology is a learning management system (LMS) and social network that makes it easy to create and share
academic content.
















I uploaded all the student
workbook pages, grammar
activities, phonics/spelling
work from Wonders into
Schoology and organized
them by unit and week of
study. Then, I shared these
resources with all my
students and colleagues.
They can access these
materials at any time at
home or at school.
I also create quizzes on Schoology for
every unit and week so that students
can use their iPads to take on-line
quizzes.
Schoology
I use Schoology to extend learning beyond the boundaries of the physical classroom. I have assigned certain
song videos for students to listen to at home, write a couple sentences about what they learned, and come to
class prepared to discuss and apply their learning. These videos also serve as a differentiation tool because
students can refer back to these songs as many times as they need in order to help them with grammar
content.














Schoology
I use the Discussion Board feature on Schoology as a way for students to learn respectful and responsible
social networking skills as they discuss topics related to content.
