Outcome of the policy
This policy is successful in providing houses for
the low and moderate income household.
This policy also:
provide more comfortable shelter
reduce squatters
increase the involvement of public
sector in government project
Providing a comfortable shelter
Pangsapuri Rakyat Perdana Paroi (PRPP)
before the transformation programme by
the local authorities, it known as (Program
Perumahan Rakyat Termiskin(PPRT)).
major issue : low housing specification

with the PPRP programme, the Prime
Minister guaranteed that the houses are
more comfortable as the high income
household houses.
Outcome of the policy
Majlis Daerah Tanjung Malim, Perak.
the government has planned to reduce poverty by
the year 2005 and the next five years.
the houses provided by the government for
the poor family are:
i. The PPR houses
ii. The PPR for lease
iv. Rooms
v. The Majlis houses

Belanjawan Budget 2012
The government will continued the Program
Perumahan Rakyat by providing 75,000 unit
houses.
Program Rumah Mesra Rakyat by SPNB will be
continued by build 10 thousand unit RMR in 2012.
For the fisherman , Tabung Khas Perumahan
Nelayan provided RM300 thousand for build and
renovate their houses.
