Subject : Mathematics year 4


Topic : Volume of liquid
Learning Objective : Pupils will be taught to multiply and divide
units of volume.
Learning Area : Basic operations involving volume of liquid.
Learning Outcomes: Pupils will be able to solve problems involving
volume of liquids.
Resources : mineral bottle,flash cards, measuring jug,
measuring cyclinder, beaker, worksheet.
Moral values : Confidentinal,honest.

Activities :
Step 1 : Solve problem involving volume of liquids in ml.

Step 2 : Select problems according to pupils ability.

Step 3 : Solve problem involving volume of liquids.

Three pupils to come forward.
Each of them takes one mineral bottle.
The pupils read the volume of water in the bottle.
Pupils say the total amount of water in the bottle.
Teacher introduces the number sentence ( horizontal form ) of
multiplication.
