The KVS range of back pressure regulation control valves (EPRs) which superseded the old KVQ range of control valves, has itself
undergone a design change which is as follows;

Note:
The KVS 42 (Code no. 034G2058) replaces both the KVS 15 & 22 valves. This version of the valve has a special EXV cone tted to
reduce the valves capacity to match the duty of the old KVS 15 & 22 valves.
This valve only comes with 7/8 connections and when replacing a KVS 15 valve, 5/8 x 7/8 copper reducers will be required to
match the existing pipe work connections.
It should also be noted that the old KVS valves type 15, 22, 28 & 35 all had right angle connections whereas the replacement KVS 45
has straightway connections.
Spares
There are only 2 spare parts for the KVS valves and for their similar partners the ETS expansion valves. These parts can be tted to
either type of valve.
