Whats been happening?

We finally got our presentations done last week and the groups did an
excellent job either acting out their story or showing the class the book
that they made.

We have been taking down the childrens work to take home so
please make sure you clear your childs folder daily to make room for
more work to come. On Wednesday, please come and check your
childs drawer and pick up any extra clothes. You can just leave a
couple of t-shirts for changing; this way, there will not be too much to
carry on Friday.

Departures
Sadly we have some friends in K2 leaving us. In K2Y, Mia, Zoe and
June will be moving on; Mia is going to Singapore, Zoe is going back
to Germany and June is going to Hong Kong. In K2R, Billy is moving
to Guilin, George is moving to Shanghai and we are also saying
goodbye to Richard.

Thank You
As this is our last K2 newsletter, the K2 team would like to thank our
Class Reps who have been supportive throughout the school year.
The parent volunteers who tirelessly help us with our field trips
deserve a BIG thank you also. In addition, a pat on the back for our
mother-tongue parent storytellers who came monthly to read to the
children. We really work like a family here in Utahloy, supporting our
children to the fullest.

EC Year-End Celebration Wednesday, June 11
th
, 2014
We hope you will be able to join us on Wednesday for our year-end
celebration. Please remember to bring/wear the requested
clothing/shoes for your childs performance and bring a swim bag for
the water play.

Parents: you are welcome to join the water fun too! Bring an
extra set of clothes to change into.

Last words from us
The children really deserve a big hand too for their hard work over the
school year. It has been great to see the children grow and mature
physically, academically, socially and emotionally.

REMINDER
Friday is half day only. Children will have an early lunch in the
classroom and will go on the bus by 11:45am. All buses will depart
the school at 12:00pm. If you child is taking the bus, please ensure
there is someone at the bus drop-off point to pick up your child. If you
are coming to pick up your child, we recommend that you come no
later than 11:40am. Thank you for your cooperation.

Our K2 team wishes you all a safe and
wonderful summer break!
