Modern photo -journalism took place in 1925
First started In Germany
before people could barely go anywhere with equipment
such as bulky lights or tripods to take beautiful pictures
the first 35 mm camera Leica took off the hassle of
carrying the bulky equipment and being able to roam
around more easily.

Germanys photo magazines established the idea then
hitler took power and most journalists fled the country
and some came to America
the name Photo-Journalism came from Frank Luther
Mott, historian and dean of the University of missouri
school of journalism, which became failure after WWII.
