The Spring Season

The Spring Season is the most pleasant season in Romania. Poets have sung many songs about
the beauty of this season. The morning is pleasant. The noon is soothing. The evening is cool and calm.
The night is comfortable. Birds are singing. The sky is clear, the wind is refreshing. Everything in
Nature looks very beautiful. Flowers bloom. New leaves come out of trees.
The period of the spring season in Romania falls between early-March to late-May. The spring
season is important for farming and it is the symbol of a new start, of rebirth. Everybody feels a sense
of joy and happiness. Besides, spring is the season when we celebrate Easter. Easter is a religious
celebration which is also focused on a new start, on rebirth. People enjoy it most!
Spring is the season of joy. Green plants are there in the fields. The earth looks green with its
plants and flowers. Spring is neither hot nor cold. It is very good for health. Days and nights are neither
too long nor too short. I hate the cold wind of winter. I do not like the hot sun of summer. I dislike mud
and dirt caused by the rains. So spring is my favourite season.
The best place to observe the spring splendour is the forest. Once you step into the depths of
the forest, you can feel overwhelmed by the sheer beauty that surrounds you. Trees either in full
bloom, or the freshest green you've ever seen soothe your senses. The aromas of the flowers on the
trees feel like a thousand perfumes in the air.
Having left the noise of the modern world behind, birdsong makes you feel as if you were in
heaven. Only the trained ear could distinguish between the hundreds of the individual sounds.
However, the overall song is as wonderful as the most complicated orchestra.
On the forest bed, other wonders meet the eye. Flowers, ferns and bushes of wild fruit grow
untamed and plentiful. The end of spring would mean little jewels shining through the foliage and
enticing the hikers into a world of unsuspected flavours, not easily found in the concrete jungle of the
city.
The beauty of spring makes us forget our sorrows. Its music thrills our ears. Its beauty pleases
our eyes. Its freshness kills our cares. So I believe the spring is the most popular season in Romania. I
like it most.
