My Heart Warming Experience
May 4, 2014 was a heartwarming day at the cemetery. I was with my boyfriend visiting the
tomb of his grandfathers. We were walking through all the pantheons; some where abandoned and
dirty while others were very beautiful. But my heartwarming experience was when we were
walking towards the car. On the way, we were going to visit the tomb of the girl that was killed by a
negligent driver. Since we saw a lot of dogs, we decided to head to the car. When we were in the car
we started to hear a noise; it was a car honking. Then we saw all these dogs running towards the car.
My boyfriend had already started driving when I told him to wait. I wanted to see what the lady
that had just arrived was going to do. She was a 40 to 50 years old woman, got out of her car, tied
one of the dogs and left the others loose. Then went to the back of her car and opened the trunk. She
was going to feed them. I think she tied the dog because he was aggressive with the other dogs and
didn't want to share food. I'm aware that not many people do this and not all of them expose to
street animals who are abandoned and, perhaps, have been abused. There are many places where
you see a lot of animals that have been abandoned. I really think that those who have the courage to
expose themselves and feed, take care, and show the love that they have for animals deserve the
best of the world. I love to see these things more often.
