Dean Kuipers, is a former editor at the Los Angeles Times. He is also a longtime writer
on environmentalism and is the author of Operation Bite Back, Burning Rainbow
Farm, and other books. Dean Kuipers wrote an article informing the residents of Los
Angeles that the air pollution in that city may cause an increase risk of stroke. In order to
prove his point, he provided a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine and
also referred to the EPA.
