Dear Members:

Thank you to all of our volunteers at our Henrik
Ibsen Park clean-up weekends. On behalf of
the entire lodge it is greatly appreciated. It is
important we maintain and promote the culture
of our Lodge and Park.


I want to remind all Lodge members of the All
Bay Area Lodges picnic at our park on Satur-
day, August 9th. Be sure to keep an eye out for
more information.

Also, be sure you put your reservations in for
our Opening Dinner and Fathers Day Brunch.
On Saturday, June 28th the Lodge will have its
annual New Member Initiation ceremony at
Henrik Ibsen Park. If you have not attended
this ceremony, I strongly recommend it.

I look forward to seeing you all this summer
enjoying the festivities and events at the Park.

more than tripled since the box-
office hit Frozen was released. If
you havent seen the movie be
sure to put it on your summer
movie list.




Norway is said to be a bid to
hold the 2022 Winter
Olympics and Paralympics.
The International Olympic
Committee is set to select a
host city July 2015.

Henrik Ibsen Park is Open for the Summer!

Henrik Ibsen Park is 90 years young and we are celebrating all summer long.
The Henrik Ibsen Park Board of Directors invites all lodge members to visit the
park often to take advantage of our beautiful facility and all of the activities that
we have planned.

You all have the filer for the Fathers Day Brunch on June 15
th
! This is a lovely,
relaxing way to celebrate Dad! Make plans to spend the day at Henrik Ibsen
Park! Also, remember that the June lodge meeting will be held at the park on June
28
th
, with dinner to follow. Yum!

Dont miss the multi-lodge picnic on August 9
th
! The picnic has activities for all
ages. Your kids wont want to miss out on winning metals at The Games, in-
cluding our swimming mini-Olympics, the three legged race, egg toss, etc. There
will also be competitions for adults and dont forget to bring some cash and get
in on our super raffles, featuring prizes for adults and children. It should be a
great day, with great food, and much fellowship.

Again this summer we have Saturday night dinners sponsored by several park
residents. So far we have dinners planned for July 16
th
, August 2
nd
, and August
23
rd
. More information to follow!

All of these activities are made possible by HIP cabin owners and lodge mem-
bers who give generously of their time and talents to organize and host these
events. I want to express my thanks to all of these volunteers and to all of the
workers that pitched in this spring at our clean-up weekends. The park looks
great, and not a year over 60!
