ADMISSION: GRADUATE PROGRAM

1. Engineering Programs: (i) M.Sc Engineering in Civil (Structural/Transportation).
(ii) M.Engineering in Civil (Structural/Transportation).

2. Qualification to Apply:
(a) Must have a minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 5.00 or a first division or equivalent in any one of
S.S.C and H.S.C or in equivalent examinations and must not have a GPA less than 2.75 out
of 5.00 or second division or equivalent in any of the aforementioned examinations.
(b) Must have at least 55% marks or minimum GPA of 2.75 out of 4.0 or its equivalent in B.Sc.
Engg in the relevant branch.
(c) For admission to the course leading to the degree of M.Sc. Engg/ M. Engg in any division,
an applicant must have obtained a B.Sc. Engg Degree in the relevant branch or equivalent
degree from any recognized institution.

3. Required documents to submit before admission: a) All mark sheets and certificates of SSC,
HSC and B.Sc/Equivalent. b) Attested Copy of National ID. c) 03 copies of recent passport size
attested photographs d) Employers certificate for part time student.

4. Important Dates:
a) Collect and Submission of Form: 01 August to 14 August 2012.
b) Admission Test: 01 September 2012 at 1600 hrs.
c) Publication of eligible students' list: List will be published in MIST website and notice board on
08 September 2012.
d) Admission Date: 16 September 2012 to 20 September 2012.
e) Class starts on: 14 October 2012.
