Mijas Los Olivos Golf designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. What makes Los Olivos
different from Los Lagos, apart from the abundance of olive trees which give it its
name. It is shorter with fewer water hazards and the greens are smaller more
undulating and with slopes. As both courses were designed by the same person it is
clear that he was aiming to create an interesting contrast between the two: if Los
Lagos is based on sand and water hazards.
