Healthified Winter Veggie Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
8 ounce(s) pasta, spaghetti, 100% whole wheat
3 cup(s) broccoli florets
1 can(s) tomatoes, diced, no salt added, (14.5 oz), drained
1 can(s) beans, cannellini, (15 oz), rinsed and drained
2 tablespoon tomato paste, no-salt-added
2 clove(s) garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper, black ground
2 tablespoon parsley, Italian, (flat-leaf), snipped
1/4 cup(s) cheese, Parmesan, grated

Preparation
1. In a 4-quart Dutch oven, cook pasta according to package directions except omitting the salt; add
broccoli to pasta for the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and return to Dutch oven.

2. Stir in tomatoes, beans, tomato paste, garlic, salt, and pepper; heat through. Stir in parsley.
Sprinkle each serving with cheese.
