Brief Study Plan for Working Professionals

Like everything else in life, CAT preparation also requires systematic planning, implementation, constant evaluation and calibration of your
efforts post the evaluation.

When you prepare for CAT in these last 4 months, it is essential that you plan your preparation carefully.

Our content experts have come up with a plan that provides you the right mix between concepts, theory and practice at every level.

Of course, no plan can ever fit the One Size Fits All policy. However, this plan (which can be followed as it is) is also intended to serve as a
platform from where you can take off based on your current level of preparation, strengths and weaknesses as well as the time available.

The study plan is given below:

You will note that this plan is scheduled to end around 20 October, which is close to the date CAT started in 2010.

There are 2 reasons for this:
1) There are indications that CAT may start around that date. Assuming you take an earlier slot, you should be prepared by this time.
2) All schedules, by their very nature, have a tendency to extend beyond their given date. Even assuming that you spend 2 additional days
per stage, you will probably finish by the end of October.
Finally, please note that the plan will vary in actual details for each student. Based on the number of chapters/question types that you have
within each quadrant, you will have to allocate time. The time frame given in the plan can act as an approximate indicator. Also, the later you
start, the more time you will have to cut off from each stage.
