Grattacielo Pirelli
Night-View
Yesterday night I climbed all the way up of Torre
Galfa. 32 flights of stairs to reach one of the best
views in town. The sight of Pirelli skyscraper was
very special. Quite breathless (not only for the
beauty, but also for the effort).

Pirellone (as Milanese call Pirelli skyscraper) was
built between 1956 and 1961 by a team lead by
Gio Ponti and Pierluigi Nervi.

MACAO - Torre Galfa
Occupy Milan
I guess this is the first time someone occupied an
actual skyscraper. By the way, one of the finest
high-rise building in Milan: Torre Galfa by
Melchiorre Bega (1956/1959).
