Secondly , concerning the fps issue , with HD Intel 3000+ 2nd gen i3/i5/i7 users
. I know many of you have a laptop with an HD Intel 3000+ 2nd gen i3/i5/i7 and f
eeling bad that you cant play CS:GO fearing fps fall to 30-40 ! Let me tell you
my pc config:
HP-PAVILION G6
Core i5 2nd GEN
Ram: 4gb
HD Intel 3000
HDD:650gb
I currently play with the lowest resolution.
I used to have this 30-40 at max 50 fps , I got fed up and researched on the HD
Intel 3000 and CSGO and FPS . Finally , a few days back I found the solution tha
nks to a guy from a blog and ofcourse a few changes from me .
Most people have problems with games performance with Intel HD 3000, because the
y use manufacture drivers and those drivers are almost always years old and not
modified by manufacture for performance. Second reason is that most people don't
know how to configure laptop to use maximum performance for games and for HD 30
00.
Just download latest Intel HD 3000 _GENERIC DRIVER_ from intel site, instead of
latest manufacture drivers. Just download HD 3000 driver install packet, don't t
ry use "automatic intel driver updater", because it will say that generic driver
cannot be installed, because of manufacture drivers are installed.

Also before installing the new generic version , please uninstall your current d
efault Nvida software from control panel and restart your pc then install the ge
neric version.
Then configure your laptop to use maximum performance all the time from Windows
power settings control panel. Its called there "best performance".
After that configure your HD 3000 user maximum performance: press CTRL+ALT+F12 a
nd go to "power" and set power choose mode to "plugged in" and choose "maximum p
erformance".
Then go to 3D tab. Disable custom settings and set 3D performance to "performanc
e".
Another trick I found out was to delete a certain .sfo
For eg. Computer->Driver(F:)->Steam->SteamApps->common->Counter-Strike:Global Of
fesive->csgo->resource->flash->background.sfr
Then after you delete the file , you MUST go to your steam library right click o
n CSGO and select properties then go to local files and finally click "VERIFY IN
TEGRITY OF GAME CACHE "
It will take a moment and there will be an 1.6mb update !
I also added a few launch options right click on CSGO , click on properties and
select "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS" under GENERAL , there you can put "-novid -console -
high -threads 4 -processheap" without the quotation marks.
These commands disable the intro, enable the console, set the process affinity t
o high, and grant your cores to CS:GO, even though technically Source can only u
se 3 threads. Some players add the -processheap parameter thinking it will grant
better fps, but because this substitutes Windows memory management for Valves ow
n code it is highly recommend to remove it.

mat_savechanges Add this line to write video settings to the registry.
cl_forcepreload 1 - Forces the game to load all the sound and art assets on map lo
ad. This can help you if you experience stuttering when certain sounds go off, s
uch as throwing a grenade into a bunch of props
cl_disablehtmlmotd 1 - disables those annoying ads when connecting to a server
cl_autowepswitch 0 - Disables automatically switching to a primary gun you pick up
off the ground so you dont draw an unloaded weapon
cl_disablefreezecam 1 - Disables the annoying freeze on death so you can make prop
er calls to your team mates
