Here I resized the image to properly fit the canvas the way I wanted it to

I Began by adjusting the exposure to my liking

I then moved on to adjusting the curves to give it a certain look.

Here I duplicated the layer and set it to screen so I could see where I was erasing. (the darker parts
are the parts being erased)

Here ive completely erased him from the backdrop. The use of 2 layers to do this was for easy
separation.
I then set the layer back to normal and added some blur to enhance the DOF effect.

Ive added vibrance in order to make the blues stand out more than other colours. Ive also lowered
the overall saturation to compensate for the vibrance boost.

I then adjusted the brightness and contrast on the layer of the wall in order to give it more depth.
I then duplicated the 2 layers so that I could merge them and still have backups. I did this in order to
have easy management, and adjust the 2 layers easily by merging them to 1.

I used the gradient tool to create a vignette.

I then made a new layer, and drew an orange glow onto it. I made the layer a colour dodge layer

here I have cut out the jacket part of the model so that I could separately adjust the colors.
Here I set the layer style on it to linear burn
Here ive added some more vibrance and saturation to the jacket.

I then merged the jacket onto the main layer.

Here ive precisely cut out and feathered the edges in order to separate the model from the
background.
Here ive added abit of lensblur in order to enhance the effect of the DOF. Ive also added this corner
to the bottom right side of the image in order to fix the piece missing from the wall.

Here ive added a warming filter.
Ive purposely added back some grain to the image.

Here ive again separated the model from the background. This is so I can overlay it onto the
background with enhanced DOF to create a sharper and more uniformed color.

Here is the final image; I have slightly brightened the colour of the eyes on the model.
