1. Introductions, review agenda, approve June meeting minutes 6:30-6:40pm

2. Sewer repairs presentation from Bureau of Environmental Services
Background: The City has begun the design of a sewer repair project that will
replace/repair aging sewer pipes across Portland, with construction projected for early
2015.
Objectives: Cheryl Kuck of the Bureau of Environmental Services will present the project
and answer questions.

3. East Glisan/Burnside business networking event
Background: On July 23
rd
from 7-9pm, NTNA, Biddy McGraws and Venture Portland
will host a networking event for local businesses near the East Glisan/Burnside corridor
to discuss how a business association could support them.
Objective: Check in on progress with coordination and outreach related to the event.

4. Check in with SouthEast Uplift
Background: Ashe Urban, NTNAs liaison to SouthEast Uplift, a coalition of
neighborhood associations in SE Portland, will check in with NTNA.
Objectives: Present updates and answer questions from board members and the
community.

6. Communications
Background: During the June NTNA meeting, the board shared ideas about how to
reach a more optimum level of communicating information with the neighborhood.
Objectives: Review and give feedback on a draft plan that outlines NTNAs future
communications strategy (e.g. newsletter, website, facebook, listserves).

7. Ground Rules
Background: During the June NTNA meeting, the board reviewed current ground rules
and made suggestions for updating them and how to use them in email and meetings.
Objectives: Review and approve updated ground rules, discuss next steps.
