Subject Line: Always Wanted To Learn Digital Marketing?

Body: Need to learn digital marketing using a real-world approach through live projects?
There are many ways to gain the skills necessary to run, for example, ad campaigns and
display ads, but only one way stands above the rest. With a Nanodegree in Digital
Marketing, new opportunities become available wherever you look.

•A/B testing is important because it allows you to see how your emails are performing, which allows
you to continue sending those with positive results, and to discontinue those with negative results.

•To do A/B testing for email marketing. I would create two campaigns, splitting my subscriber list in
two to use equal halves of my list for the campaigns. This would allow for running different
campaigns with similar goals to better understand which one performs better.

• It is important to remove unsubscribes from your email list as this will not only annoy
the unsubscribed users, but it is against the law and you could face criminal charges
as a result. Don’t email users if they’ve unsubscribed, it’s not worth the hassle for both
parties.
Final Recommendations
• For email number two, I would have A/B testing such as a different video produced
by Udacity that is on digital marketing and compare the number of views with the one
I already selected.

• For email number three, I would change the visual by using a different image related
to digital marketing where it had a large banner with “Sign Up” written across the
bottom.
