Topic: Poland my country.
Aims:
to teach Spanish students about Poland: its geography, culture, history and
nature.
to encourage students and the teachers to visit Poland.
to reduce stereotypes about Poland
Methods: Group work , individual work, working with multimedia , discussion,
interview.
Resources: The PowerPoint presentation about Poland, The jigsaw puzzle.
The whiteboard, The Polish sweets. Chopins music.
Activities: The teacher introduced herself and presented the topic of the
lesson. Students listen to Chopins music and imagine that they are in Poland.
The teacher asks the students if they know sth about Poland.
The teacher shows the PowerPoint presentation discussing History, the
landscape, famous people and currency. After the presentation students solve
the jigsaw puzzle about the most famous person form Poland. In the end
everyone gets some Polish Sweets.
