Person in Distress- Hansel and Gretel


This is a story that was originated in Germany and was written by the
Brothers Grimm. Their father took them deep into the woods and
abandoned them. They found the candy house which belonged to a
witch. The witch captured them and tried to eat them. Hansel and Gretel
were terrified and helpless, but they helped each other and they pushed
the witch in the oven where she burned to death.
Deity Archetype
The Destroyer- Chernbog
His name means Black God. He is a dark demonic deity, a hideous
shadowy figure dressed in black who only appears at night. He is feared all
over Russia as a being of pure nastiness, in the same evil club as Satan. He
causes calamity and disaster, bringing bad luck and misfortune wherever
he turns.

After Life- Grim Reaper
The story of the Grim Reaper is a myth originated from England. He is one
of The Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse. It is thought that those who see
him will soon perish, and as such he is considered a bad omen. The Grim
Reaper is most analogous to Charon, the man believed to ferry the dead
across the River Styx.

Hero- James Bond
This Character originated from Europe in 1954. Also this Novel was actually
a TV series and became a movie in the year 2006. But the story is about a
secret agent who goes undercover to find a drug lord name Le Chiffre.
The thing that usually happens during this film is a girl who comes in the
way of his problem and she gets taken hostage. Then he ends up up
risking his own life for her and she ends up dying but gets the bad guy.

Sun god- Lugh
Lugh is actually a man who was skilled in weaponry. He is also a modern
Irish deity from the Celtic. Also he had this magical spear that he crafted
that was used in battle. They have an illustrated photograph of what it look
like in 1905. Lugh's father is Cain of the Tuatha De Danann and his mother is
Ethniu, daughter of Balor, of the Fomorians.

Creation of myth-Halloween
Halloween is about people dressing up as ghouls or goblins for the festival
of the dead. But the Celtic people had it as a holiday on November 1
st

instead of todays date Halloween celebration the 31
st
of October. That
date supposedly marked the date of winter were livestock were took in
like cattle, and sheep. Also the day of Halloween is the day the dead can
dance with the living and Samhain the souls of those who had died during
the year traveled into the otherworld. Another thing people do to
celebrate is gathered and sacrifice animals, fruits, and vegetables by a
bonfire.

Monster-Fear Liath
Fear Liath is a 10ft tall humanoid that haunts Scotland's 2nd tallest mountain,
Ben Macdui. If you do not see Fear Liath it is said that you will at least feel his
presence and hear sounds. It is traditionally known as a supernatural being.

Great mother-Baba Yaga
Baba Yaga originates in Ireland and goes known as a witch who eats children, thats why
parents tell their kids if they dont behave Baba Yaga will come for them. Even though the myth
goes saying Baba Yaga isnt Evil at all, she lives in the woods with a fence made of bones and if
you enter she will ask you if you were sent or come out of free will. One of these answers is right.
If chosen right she will give you a task Baba Yaga complains about someone coming after
her. That is why the question is who and why?

Order From chaos-Veles
Veles(Volos) originates in Russia. He is the god of death and the
underworld. Also known as the bringer of chaos. Veles also regularly sent
spirits of the dead into the living world as his heralds. He is imagined to look
partially serpentine, with horns of a ram and a long beard. The character
of Veles is very complex.

The Shadow: Krampus
He is a beast like creature from the folklore of alpine countries thought to
punish children during the Christmas season who had misbehaved, in
contrast with saint Nicholas, who rewards well behaved ones with gifts
Traditionally young men dress up as krampus in Austria, Romania, and
southern Bavaria, south tyrol, northern Friuli, Czech republic, Slovakia,
Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia during the first week of December,
particular of the evening 5 of December, and roam the streets frightening
children with rusty chains and bells

to Annie Moores son noel, which tells the tale of peter rabbit for the first
time

Mythical Archetype: creation myth
The giants are the gods of old. In the first winter, a mighty giant was
created hoarfest. And when fire came, he melted. From the enormous

the sky. In the centre of the earth, on hills rising high as mountians, live the

secrets.
