Summer is quickly passing,
and the fourth is right
around the corner with the
booms and cracks of
fireworks and celebration. I
hope you all can enjoy
Independence Day with your
family and friends.

Remember that summer is
not an excuse to slack on
Key Club duties, but it is
actually an excuse to do
more! Make sure to plan and
participate in service
projects. Also, remember to
turn in monthly reports by
the 5
th
of each month.

I, along with other Key
Clubbers from LaMissTenn,
will be attending the Key
Club International
Convention (ICON) in
Anaheim, California this
week.
At ICON, we will join other
Key Clubbers from around
the world to vote on
amendments to the Key Club
constitution, vote for this
years new international
officers, and do much more! I
will inform you on what
happens at the international
level.

Again, dont hesitate to email
me with any concerns or
questions you have.

Yours in Service,
Emma Bourgeois

Divisional Service Project Ideas

Disaster Aid USA

Disaster Aid USA is a project that provides shelter, clean water
systems, tools, mosquito nets, and other items to survivors of disasters
in the United States and other countries. It is partnered with Disaster
Aid Australia and Disaster Aid UK and Ireland. The shelter that
Disaster Aid USA provides is a special tent with different areas for
children and women to rest when most vulnerable, a mosquito and
privacy screening, a waterproof factor, and more. I would like to have
a fundraiser for Disaster Aid USA. I will contact Mr. Agee about
fundraising ideas, and then I will let you all know what we are doing
and when. If you would like to find out more, you can visit
http://www.disasteraidusa.com/
Key Club Preferred Charities

Besides helping Disaster Aid USA, I would also like to help other
charities, such as Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals, March of
Dimes, and Unicef.

Key Club helps Childrens Miracle Network by fundraising and
participating in service projects.

With the March of Dimes, Key Club helps to provide a healthy start
for babies through fundraising
.
Key Club is partnered with Unicef for The Eliminate Project. Key
Club has helped Unicef with its iodine deficiency programs and HIV
and AIDS programs.

I hope to have different divisional fundraisers throughout the year for
these charities.
On the right is Mr. Kenneth Larry Agee is
the Executive Director of Disaster Aid USA.
