How do I set the format in which dates and decimal numbers are entered and

displayed?

There are several personal user settings that you may set within SAP. Among those user
profile settings is the format in which you enter dates and decimal numbers and how they
are displayed.

Note: The actions/changes described in this procedure will take affect after you have
logged off of SAP and subsequently log on again.
1. From the SAP Easy Access menu select System User Profile Own Data.

2. The following window will open. This window has three tabs (Address, Default
and Parameters). Click on the Defaults tab.

3. Here you can set the way you will enter numbers and dates in SAP and how they
are displayed. Choose the desired format by clicking the appropriate radio button.

Click the radio button to
select the desired format.
4. Click Save when all entries have been completed.

logged off of SAP and subsequently log on again.
