EXPERIENCE CHINA TRIP ITINERARY

3/22 JFK/Shanghai/Beijing
Busses depart Burlington to JFK Airport in New York.
Check in at JFK International Airport by 4:35 p.m. for an afterrnoon fight to Shanghai. Your adventure begins as you fy
trans-Pacifc aboard a wide cabin jetliner. Cross the international Dateline.
3/23 Shanghai/ Beijing
Land in Shanghai at 7:30 p.m., take a transit fight at 9:15 p.m. to Beijing. You will be met by your local tour guide upon
arrival at 11:40 p.m. Transfer to the hotel.
3/24 Beijing
Visit the 2008 Beijing Olympic venues for the views of the National Stadium, the Birds Nest, and the National Aquatic
Center. Continue to the Great Wall. En route, visit the Jade Factory. Visit one of the 13 Ming Tombs to be fully excavated
and open for exploration. Enjoy a Peking Roast duck dinner.
3/25 Beijing

Sightseeing includes the Tian An Men Square; the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City; the Pearl Market;
the Summer Palace; Kunming Lake and the Longevity Hill; the Seventeen Arch Bridge and Marble Boat. Business meeting
with local government.
3/27 Suzhou/Hangzhou
Sightseeing at Tiger Hill. Visit the Suzhou Silk Factory. Walk in the centuries-old Lingering Garden. Afternoon visit to the
National Embroidery Institute to see silk embroidery.
Bus ride to Hangzhou
3/28 Hangzhou/Shanghai
Morning boatride on West Lake with a stopover at jewel-like pagodas. Visit Longjing Green Tea Plantation and the
Lingyin Temple, with its 64 ft-high camphor-wood carved Buddha.
Continue bus journey to Shanghai
3/29 Shanghai
Visit the Bund, a famous water park. Tour the Shanghai Silk Rug Factory. Enjoy an afternoon at the Yu Garden -- a maze of
pavilions, ponds, rocky works and overarching trees. Explore the old town bazaar. Visit the Pudong District.
3/26 Beijing/Shanghai/Suzhou
In the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors prayed for a good harvest.
Flight to Shanghai 4:20 p.m./6:25 p.m., then bus ride to Suzhou.
3/30 Shanghai/JFK
Return fight will depart at 11:30 a.m. for JFK. Arrive at 2:15 p.m on the same day.
