The use of close up shots in The Maker and (Notes

On) Biology films show details relevant to the film.

By doing this it helps to drive the story forward with
using little props. It also emphasizes the more
important elements of the films
Birds eye view shows the different personalities of
the students in (Notes On) Biology




The special effects in Proximity make it seem like the
characters are using holograms


Shot reverse shot used in The Maker shows the POV (Point Of
View) of the creature.
The fast cuts in (Notes On) Biology shows individual elements
in a small space of time.




The colour of the clothes are a significant part in the short films I have
looked at as they connote specific thing that relate to the film.
Proximity uses black clothes on the enemy as it connotes danger and
white on the victims as it connotes innocence.
The Maker uses a lot of props to suggest the location of the character.
The colours of the films connote different things to do with the film.
Memorize used blues which connotes coldness which suggests there is
danger. The Maker however uses warm colours which connotes
happiness this suggests that it is a welcoming film.



The music in The Maker is classical because of this
it is a very calm film whereas Proximity uses faced
paced music to build up the action and suspense.
Memorize uses sound effects to enhance the
special effects that are used to make them seem as
if they are real.
