I researched who the distribution company was for the film The Conjuring because I used it as an example for the convention of horror films entry. The distribution company of this film is warner bros. that have also made other horror films such as Orphan, Final Destination 5, and House of Wax.

Summit Entertainment
I also looked at the distribution company of the film Sinister because I feel that it relates to my own film because it is all about one man and my film revolves around a woman. The distribution company of this film is Summit Entertainment.

Momentum Pictures
I than looked at the film The Woman in Black because it is a dark film like my own this is why I wanted to look at who distributed it. The distribution company of this film is Momentum Pictures.

Who I might choose

I have chosen to use summit entertainment as the company that will distribute my film, my production can relate to other films that they have done in the past. Summit entertainment is a well known distribution company which distribute good horror films that have some of the same conventions that I have in my production. I believe that my production would appeal to international audiences not just the audiences in the UK because of the concept of my film and the one who distributes the film.
