17025 NABL Certificate

An autonomous body set to grant


certification to the laboratories
17025 NABL certificate complies with the ISO/IEC 17011:2004
and Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC)
MR001.

The certification has been granted to the laboratories meeting the
standards set by the ISO for its quality management of the
laboratories.
To provide a better organizational view of the medical, calibration
and testing laboratories NABL has added a new dimension to the
laboratory standard as :Accreditation of PT Providers.

According to which the laboratories should follow the
international standard ISO/IEC 17043 and need to obtain the ILAC
/ APLAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) Signatory
Status in order to gain the certification and international
recognition
NABL grant certification to the testing and calibration laboratories
along with the medical laboratories under ISO 17025 standard

The advantage that a calibration laboratory gains from the
certification is that it helps in eliminating the need of auditing by
clients as the accreditations in itself has done auditing in order to
grant the certification
17025 NABL Certificate have been granted with an aim to
provide the ISO authentication to the testing and calibration
laboratories. The NABL personnel involved in conducting the
third party assessment should fulfill the eligibility criteria as
defined by NABL.
