INTRODUCTION
Four different types of centrifugal fan, namely, backward
curved, forward curved, radial bladed and MPI complete this
comprehensive range of fans which can offer volumes up to
120m
3
/s and pressures up to 13.5kPa.
The backward curved and MPI ranges are high static efficiency
(77%) fans suitable for clean air and light pneumatic conveying
applications with a temperature capability of up to 550C.
The radial bladed range of fans is designed for use where airborne
solids pass through the fan and are manufactured for rigorous
industrial applications with self-cleaning blade configuration
and relatively high discharge velocities suitable for pneumatic
conveying.
In the airconditioning and ventilation installations where quiet running
and low operational noise levels are important considerations
the forward curved fan series finds its application .
TESTING AND STANDARDS
Performance curves are based on tests done in accordance with
BS 848 Part 1 1963 in our Research & Development Laboratory.
CFW is engaged in the process to attain ISO9001-2000 certification,
and manufactures to CE, ANSI, and NEMA standards upon
request.
