by going to the BODY WORLDS Vital exhibit in Faneuil Hall on June 5, 2014. Since we have just finished our unit in health and the mechanics of the human body, this will be both an interactive and fun adventure! This exhibit provides an in-depth look into real human bodies beneath the skin level. The exhibit includes real human body specimens, organs, and body splices. Gunther von Hagens, who is a physician and an anatomist, created this exhibit by preserving donated bodies through Plastination. This is a process that removes the body fluids and fat from the bodies to allow us to see what is really inside. These plastinates are of all ages and show a range of anatomical positions. We will be able to see how disease affects the human body and compare healthy to unhealthy bodies. Our day will begin at the exhibit where we will be guided through an audio tour for two hours. What a wonderful way to serve our Creator by seeing His most precious creations. ITIENARY 8:00 9:00 : Students are expected to arrive at the normal time for a 8:00 AM start.
