Each Recognized Student Organization is required to have a University Adviser. The choice of
Adviser and the acceptance to serve as Adviser is a voluntary association that depends primarily upon
the group and the Adviser. m



The Adviser shall:

Co-sign University documents related to the activities of the organization for the sole purpose
of being informed of the groups activities.

Become familiar with University rules and regulations applicable to student organizations.

The Adviser should also be available to:

Attend regular meetings of the organization and become familiar with its activities.

Provide assistance in the administration of the financial affairs of the organization.

Provide assistance in the planning and implementation of program activities.

Provide assistance in the areas of organization and personal development.

Ensure that the group operates according to its constitution.
