How to use Phet Simulatons:

1. Go to phet.colorado.edu
2. Go to the search bar at the top of the screen and type in the name of the simulation.
3. You may not need to type the entire name as the website will often autoll and predict your
entries. Select the correct simulation. We will use John Travoltage as an example.

4. The simulation should have loaded and you will see options on what to do.

5. Most simulations are only available in Java and a few are available in HTML5 as well.
Choose one of the following methods that will work for you:
A. If the HTML5 version is available, click it. The sim should load without issue.
B. If you want to use the simulation right now, click Run Now and you may have to install
Java if you are prompted to do so.
C. If you prefer to save the simulation onto your computer, you may choose download and
it will be saved on your device without having to go to the website later.
D. Please note that the Java versions will not work on tablets and phones. Few sims are
coded in HTML5, but these sims will work on your portable devices.
