The chromium plated frame makes it possible
to manufacture cover plates made of any
material, as long as it can be processed in
4mm thick plates. Accordingly, the glasses
and the stones included in the catalog can
be taken as examples of materials selected
among the endless available possibilities.
Thus, the glass part of the cover plate VKA
becomes the template to be given to the
craftsman in order the complete the electric
system with the material chosen by the
customer.
The Kristall cover plate VKA can be easily
personalized. Removing the 4 screws placed
under the chrome frame. Metallic foils
(copper, gold, silver), fabrics, embroideries
and wallpaper can be placed under the glass
thus achieving exceptional effect.

Both one-colour and colour logos or symbols
can be applied on all cover plates listed in the

2. SURROUND PLATE (FRAME)
The standard chrome frame can be produced with
different nishes:
aluminium or anthracite, to match the key
colour
polished and satin gold, to match the colour of
OR and OS cover plates
satin chromium plating, for a more mimetic
surround plate.

Dimmer
KNOB DIMMER HC-HS4401
This dimmer can control ferromagnetic transformers and incandescent lamps
(power between 60W and 500W) from one or more points.
Pressing the centre pushbutton will activate the load thus setting it to
the level of the last adjustment that was made. Pressing it again will
deactivate it. The ne-adjustment of the levels occurs using the knob.
When switching on, the devices enable the load in order to gradually reach
the set level of brightness to avoid dazzling phenomena (soft-start);
switching off also occurs gradually (soft-stop).
The dimmer is designed using new technology which ensures compliance
with the standards on the emission of electromagnetic disturbances without
the use of lter coils, hence ensuring equipment noiselessness.
An inbuilt fuse type T2,5H250V selfprotects dimmers against short circuits.
Using dimmers powered by uninterrupted power supplies or by a generator
set may cause malfunction.
Installation notes
For proper operation of all dimmers, follow the instructions below during
installation:
- do not use two or more dimmers together in the same box
- do not install in boxes where there are thermostats

In this way it is possible to obtain an increase in the power controlled by the
main dimmer, that has the master function.

The infrared remote control system lets you switch on and off or adjust
electric loads or activate drapery, blinds, etc from remote control points. All
this is electrically carried out in a safe manner since there are no electrical
connections between the control point (remote control) and the user (load).
This feature makes it possible to install this system in places where high
safety is required, places where there are disabled persons and wherever it
is impossible to physically connect a control point and a controlled device.
The system includes:

Remote controls can be of two types: with 7 or 8 pushbuttons. The rst
version controls up to 7 receivers in the same room and it is suitable for
domestic environments.The second version has 16 channels: the rst 8
are directly controlled with the 8 pushbuttons (icking the selector will
changeover to the next 8 channels. The latter model is normally used in
service industry applications. To make their use easier, it is possible to apply
labels with specic symbols next to the pushbuttons. These symbols should
be used to remember the functions of each channel. 1.5V batteries
- type AAA - are housed in the bottom part.

16-key remote control; all keys can be directly selected; when a key is
pressed, it sends a sound signal and it lights up; when it is released, the LED
brightness gradually decreases until the light goes off. An icon representing
the function saved by the key can be entered next to each key. A 3.5 mm
standard jack is also in place, allowing to use the remote control through the

The passive IR switch opens up new prospects in the eld of automatic
mechanisms, allowing to automatically switch on devices as passers-by
approach (for example, light turns on without touching any switch or
pushbutton). It is possible to adjust the device sensitivity threshold according
to the room natural lighting and to adjust the end-of-operation delay after
last movement has been detected, to optimise performance.
The detection range can be widened by installing several devices at different
places, with outputs connected in parallel.
Volumetric coverage is achieved with 3 levels of rays A, B and C with plus-2,
minus-6 and minus-30 degrees orientation relative to the installation axis,
and reaches 4 meters.

The HC-HS4451 Chronothermostat is a ush-mounting device which can be
used for heating and air-conditioning systems; it is possible through several
programming possibilities to adjust the temperature at any time of the day
and in a differentiated manner, every day of the week.
It is possible to choose how to use a standard program (already stored but
can be changed according to the specic needs of the user) or to create a
new one with a simple programming procedure.
A large back-lit display shows you at all times the programme setting, the
status of the system and the temperature of the room. The Chronothermostat
consists of a base used for the system electric connections and a removable
front part to allow the user to execute the programming operations and to
replace the batteries more easily.

The (totally separated) tulip safety sockets can be accessed only with a
special plug that closes the contact when it is completely in.
The contact is guaranteed by the pressure of special spiral springs.
Plugs with a different capacity cannot be interchanged, thus it is possible to

The electronic bell has 3 sounds, all of which are continuous and intermittent
and pilot-operated from three different paging locations.
It is also possible to adjust the volume of the required sound with the
controller located at the front.

PULL-OUT EMERGENCY TORCH HC-HS4380
The device includes a charger base and a lamp with replaceable back-up
batteries. It turns on automatically when the electrical power goes out. The
lamp unit can be removed so that it can be used as a normal rechargeable
torch.
It also includes two LEDs which indicate the type of function being used
and a slide switch for enabling or disabling the device thereof (this is
important for preventing it from being switched on in case of an intentional
disconnection of the power service).
The battery recharge is also temporarily inactive when the device is disabled

Alarm indications and proper operation
The range of gas detectors includes:
- methane gas detectors
- GPL gas detectors
Methane and GPL gas detectors comply with standard UNI CEI 70028 and
with the European standard project EN 50194. All detectors use the latest-
generation semiconductor sensors; this feature makes every device extremely
selective on the gas for which it was rated, thus the possibilities of accidental
alarms are reduced. They are controlled by a microprocessor and are provided
with an internal self-test for signalling possible anomalies of electronic
components of the sensor and of external connections. A series of LEDs and a
audible signalling device indicate proper power supply, a possible anomaly or
an alarm situation. As required by the Standards, all devices are sensitive to
just one type of gas and clearly show the name of the manufacturer, the type
of gas for which they were made, the recommended replacement date, the
guaranteed period of operation, etc.. All devices are made in a two-module
enclosure. Only the conguration that requires an installation combined
with the repeater and detector is covered by the IMQ - UNI CIG mark of
conformity, according to the Standard UNI CEI 70028.
The alarm, failure and proper power supply indication is signalled by
the LEDs and by the audible signalling devices which bear the standard
symbols required by the regulation.

These devices are used in combination with the radio two-way switch
actuators in order to add new control points to the existing electrical
system.
The association between the radio controls and the actuator is achieved
through a simple conguration operation which does not require the use of
software or particular accessories.
Three versions are available:
- item H4572PI with 2 AXOLUTE modules for ush mounting installations
using the usual supporting frame and nishing plate;
- item HA/HB4572 with 2 AXOLUTE modules and low-prole (only 13 mm thick),
including a supporting frame for surface-mounting on wooden, glass and
stone walls, to be completed with a nishing plate.
Both versions are completed with special key covers item HS/HC4919.
- remote control item 3527 with 6 pushbuttons which can be customised with
graphic labels and set up for being used by disabled people.

The radio actuators connected to a traditional electric system enable you
to control the loads using radio remote controls item H4572PI, item
HA-HB4572 and item 3527. The association between the actuator and the
radio control is achieved through a simple conguration operation which
does not require the use of software or particular accessories. The range
includes ush-mounting devices with AXOLUTE modularity, 2 DIN modules
and features a removable version for installations on existing electric sockets.
The actuators, with AXOLUTE modularity, are completed with key covers item
HC/HS4911/... or item HC/HS4915/... so as to be aesthetically integrated
with the AXOLUTE pre-existing system.
Each actuator can be controlled by a maximum of 16 radio control devices.
