THE MOUNT

We are souls that have bodies. But, the
body is nothing but the garment of the
soul.

The body does not think, what thinks is the
soul. The body does not love, what loves is
the soul. The body does not desire, it is the
soul that desires. The body is only the
vestment of the soul.

During the hours of sleep, the soul comes
out of the body and visits all those places
that are familiar to it.

During the hours of sleep, the soul wanders
upon the Sacred Mount, which we are told
of by the Saints of the Gospel.

The Bible speaks to us about the Mount in
the following verses:

And it came to pass that about eight
days after these words, Jesus took
Simon Peter and James and John,
and went up into a mountain to
pray.

And while he prayed, the appearance
of his face was changed, and his
raiment became white and dazzling.

And behold, two men were speaking
with him, Moses and Elijah,

Who appeared in glory and spoke
concerning his departure which was
to be accomplished at Jerusalem.

And Simon Peter and those who
were with him were heavy with sleep;
and when they awoke they saw his
glory and the two men who stood
with him.

siguientes versculos.

"Y aconteci como ocho das
despus de estas palabras, que
tom a Pedro, a Juan y a Jacobo
y subi al monte a orar".

"Y entre tanto que oraba, la
apariencia de su rostro se hizo
otra, y su vestido blanco y
resplandeciente".

"Y he aqu dos varones que
hablaban con l, los cuales eran
Moiss y Elas".

1
And it came to pass when separating
from him, Peter said to Jesus:
Master, It is good for us to remain
here, and make three tabernacles; one
for you, one for Moses, and one for
Elijah. But he didnt know what he
was saying.

And when he was talking about this,
there a cloud came, and overshadow-
ed them; and they were frightened
when they saw Moses and Elijah
entering into the cloud.

And there came a voice out of the
cloud, saying; This is my beloved
Son, hear him.

And when the voice was heard, they
found Jesus alone. And they kept
silent, and in those days they did not
tell any man what they saw.

And it came to pass the next day, as
they came down from the mountain,
they were met by many people.

(Luke 9:28-37)

This mountain that the Gospels speak
about is the space.

During the hours of sleep, all souls wander
about the mount and visit different places,
they go wherever their heart takes them.

In dreams our souls speak with distant
beings, speak with other souls, and can
converse with the angels.

When it is said that Christ, Peter, John,
and James climbed the mountain to pray,
and that Christ was transfigured in their
presence, we have to understand that their
bodies of flesh and bones slept while their
souls were praying outside of the body, on
the mount.
"Y aconteci, que ellos apartndose
de l, Pedro dice a Jess: Maestro,
bien es que nos quedemos aqu; y
hagamos tres pabellones, uno para
ti y uno para Moiss, y uno para
Elas, no sabiendo lo que deca".

"Y estando l hablando de esto, vino
una nube que los cubri; y tuvieron
temor, cuando vieron a Moises y
Elas entrando en la nube".

"Y vino una voz de la nube, que
deca: Este es mi hijo amado, a l
od".

"Y pasada aquella voz, Jess fue
hallado solo y ellos callaron; y por
aquellos das no dijeron nada a
nadie de lo que haban visto".

"Y aconteci al da siguiente, que
apartndose ellos del monte, gran
compaa les sali al encuentro"

(Vers. 28 al 37 Cap. 9 San
Lucas).

2
Every human being can visit the mount at
will. The important thing is to comprehend
that we are souls who have bodies, and
that we are able to enter and leave the
body at will.

Every Christian can learn how to come out
of the body at will.

THE CLUE IS AS FOLLOWS:

The person will lie down on their bed,
become drowsy, and when they find that
they are already asleep they will gently get
up from the bed, being careful not to wake
themselves up from their dream.

Then leave the bedroom, take a little jump
with the intention of floating, and then
flying, any one of us can go to wherever
your heart takes you.

The mother may be able to visit her distant
child, see him, and talk to him. The
husband could visit his wife who is far
away, see her, and she in turn could do the
same.

This is not a mental exercise; we are not
dealing here with a mental matter. When
we say that the individual ought to gently
get out of bed, this must be done as you
read
1
it, but, [while] watching the
sleepiness you attained, the power to enter
the mount is in the sleepiness.

The important thing is to abandon laziness,
and get up from your bed at the moment of
falling asleep.

On the mount, all souls can converse with
the Virgin of Carmel, and with the beloved
Son born from her womb.

1
Literally oye means catch; listen, hear;
voluntad.

Todo cristiano puede aprender a salir del
cuerpo a voluntad.

LA CLAVE ES LA SIGUIENTE:

Acustese la persona en su lecho,
adormzcase y cuando ya se encuentre
dormitando levntese de su lecho con
suavidad, cuidndose de no despertar de su
sueo.

3
The Most Holy Virgin of Carmel weeps for
all women, and she watches over all human
beings.

On the mount, the Virgin of Carmel
appears dressed with her Carmelite [tan or
brownish-yellow] tunic. She wears a brown
and Carmelite mantle over her head, she
carries a scapular in her hands, and her
head is encircled by a crown.

She is the Brunette Virgin, the Virgin of
the Mount.

DISCERNMENT

In our last section (The Mount) we said
that when the body sleeps, the soul
wanders about the sacred mount.

During the hours of sleep the soul occupies
itself with the same trades and occupations
of the day.

Out of the body the merchants buy and sell
in their shops, without realizing that they
are outside of the body.

During the hours of sleep we see the souls
of dressmakers, of the mechanics, store-
keepers, peddlers, etc., dedicated to the
same trades and daily occupations.

Those souls are asleep, convinced and
certain that they are in their bodies of flesh
and bones. When someone tells them that
they are outside of the body, they do not
believe it and they mock the person who
tells them.

If those souls were to realize that they
were outside of the body, then they would
be able to transport themselves to any
place of the world in a few moments.

Esas almas andan dormidas, convencidas,

4
Thus, the wife who suffers for the man she
loves and is absent; the fiance who is
suffering for her beloved fianc; may be
able to visit him without being noticed.
The mother whose son is absent, may visit
her child and give account of his life.

What is important is to know the clue, the
secret, in order to be aware that one is
outside of the physical body.

The discernment is the key. During the day
we must ask ourselves this question, Am I
in my body or outside of my body?

Then jump up, take a little leap with the
intention of floating in space, and if you
float it is because you are outside of your
body. Then, suspended in space, direct
[yourself to] where your heart takes you.

This question should be asked in the
presence of anything that is curious. Sup-
pose that you are walking down the street
and you meet a friend that you have not
seen for long time, ask yourself this ques-
tion at that time, Am I in my body or out-
side of it?

Jump a little leap with the intention of
floating, and if you float it is because your
body is asleep in your bed, and you are
outside of it. Direct [yourself] then to
where your heart takes you, to that person
who is absent from you, to your distant
child, to your beloved one.

You should ask yourself this question
during the day, in the presence of anything
that is curious. An uproar, a rare object,
encountering a dead person, meeting a
distant friend, well,, in the presence of any
[seemingly] insignificant detail.

One should practice this key of discern-
ment during the day, at every step, every
moment, in order to register it well into our
soul, and act while dreaming.

5
Everything that one does during the day
one also does during sleep, and if during
the day one accustoms oneself to this
practice, during the night you will find
yourself doing it in the hours of sleep when
the soul is outside of the body.

And then, upon asking yourself the ques-
tion, take a little jump such as the one you
did during the day, and your consciousness
will awaken. You will float in space and
visit distant people, and absent child, a
mother who hasnt had any news, etc.

During the hours of sleep the soul is
outside of the body. The important thing is
that the soul realizes that it is functioning
outside of the body, so that it can visit any
distant place.

This is the key of discernment:

If, being outside of the body, we invoke
with a pure heart the Virgin of Carmel,
then, the Divine Mother of the Nazarene
will attend our call and we can converse
with her. And if, being outside of the body,
we invoke the Angel Gabriel, asking him
for the Annunciation, then he can tell the
husband and wife on which day and at
what hour they can connect their bodies.

And in this way women can conceive their
children through the work and grace of the
Holy Spirit, that is to say, by command of
the Holy Spirit.

Men can converse with angels during sleep.
Every woman, every child, every elderly
person, can speak to angels during sleep.

While outside of the body we can invoke
angels, and they will attend our call in
order to teach us the word of God.

lejano.

Esta es la clave del discernimiento:

Si estando fuera del cuerpo, invocamos con
puro corazn a la Virgen del Carmen,
entonces la Divina Madre del Nazareno
concurrir a nuestro llamado y podremos

6
INCENSE

While the human personality does not
know how to obey the Spirit, illumination
is impossible.

The devotee should purify their bedroom
daily with special aromatic substances.
Incense purifies the astral body. A good
incense attracts the great Masters that we
need for our work.

We can mix incense with gum-benzoin.
Benzoin purifies the astral body and
dispels gross and sensual thoughts.
Benzoin can be mixed with incense in a
perfume censer, or all burnt within a
brazier. This is the most practical.

The essence of roses can also be mixed with
these perfumes to purify the environment.
It is good to remember that roses have
great power. The rose is the queen of
flowers. It is necessary that the rose of the
Spirit open its fragrant and delicious bud
upon the cross of our body.

We also recommend olibanum to create a
devotional atmosphere in the nuptial
bedroom.

Husband and wife should live in the midst
of perfume and Love.

Incense and perfume burn delightfully in
all Hindu, Parsee, Jam, Shinto temples
etc., etc. Incense and perfumes were never
absent from the temples of Greece, Rome,
Persia etc.

The devotee needs much purification and
sanctification to reach illumination.

INCIENSO

Mientras la humana persona no sepa
obedecer al Espritu es imposible la
iluminacin.

El devoto debe purificar diariamente su
ecmara con sahumerios especiales. El
incienso purifica el Cuerpo Astral. Un buen
incienso atrae a los grandes Maestros que
necesitamos para nuestro trabajo.

Podemos mezclar incienso con benju. El
benju purifica el astral y desvanece los
pensamientos groseros y sensuales.

parsis, jainos, sintostas, etc., etc. Nunca
faltaron los inciensos y perfumes en los
templos de Grecia, Roma, Persia, etc., etc.

El devoto necesita muchsimas purifica-
ciones y santificaciones para llegar a la
iluminacin.

7
LAKSHMI

It is indispensable to learn
how to leave consciously in
the Astral Body. Let us
remember that the mind is
found within the astral. It is
urgent to visit the Temples
of the White Lodge
consciously. In the astral we
can study at the feet of the
Master.

In the following paragraphs
we will teach the mantras
for astral projection as taught by a sage in
one of his books. These mantras are in the
Sanskrit language and the yogis of India
use them to project in the astral body.

MANTRAM FOR ASTRAL
PROJECTION

Hare Ram. Hare Ram, Ram Hare
Hare. Hare Cristo. Hare Cristo,
Cristo, Cristo, Hare, Hare.

Hare Murare Modup Coiptus Hare
Copal Govind Mukum Sonre.

Mage Prage Yodi Kolpi Basi Parvot
Tullo Hiro No Dane En Bai de Nem

Sri Govind, Sri Govind. Sri Govind.
Sri Govind. Ganesha Namap.

The devotee should fall asleep with the
head towards north or towards east. It is
necessary that the devotee should first
learn by heart these mantras of India. The
devotee should lie down dorsal decubitus
(face up), should beg, call and invoke with
all his Soul the Master Lakshmi to take
him out consciously and positively in the
astral body. It is necessary to call Lakshmi
in the name of the Christ.

LAKSHMI

Es indispensable aprender a
salir conscientemente en
Cuerpo Astral. Recordemos
que dentro del astral se
halla la mente. Es urgente
visitar conscientemente los
templos de la Logia Blanca.
En el astral podemos
estudiar a los pies del
Maestro.

A continuacin vamos a

ASTRALES

Hare Ram. Hare Ram, Ram Hare

Sri Govind, Sri Govind. Sri Govind.
Sri Govind. Ganesha Namap.

Cuerpo Astral consciente y positivamente.
Es necesario llamar a Lakshmi en nombre
de Cristo.

8
INVOCATION

In the name of the Christ, by the
glory of the Christ, by the power of
the Christ, I call you, Lakshmi
Lakshmi Lakshmi Amen.

This invocation is repeated thousands of
times supplicating the Master Lakshmi to
take you consciously out of the physical
body and to teach you how to travel
consciously in the astral body. After
making this invocation, recite the Sanskrit
mantra thousands of times with the mind
concentrated on the Christ. Fall asleep
calmly while making the invocation.

When you wake up, practice a retrospective
exercise to remember where you were,
where you walked, with whom you were
speaking etc.

It is necessary to ask Lakshmi to teach you
how to go consciously into the astral.

It is necessary to have patience as great as
that of Holy Job in order to learn how to go
out consciously in the Astral Body.

And Jesus said:

By your patience you will gain your
souls.
(Luke 21:19)

INVOCACION

Astral.

Y Jesus dice:

En vuestra paciencia poseeris
vuestras almas.
(Vers. 19 Cap. 21 San Lucas).
9
SPECIAL INDICATION

The mantras to go out in the Astral Body
as we have taught in our last section
(Lakshmi) are marvelous. The invocation
to the Master Lakshmi is magnificent,
marvelous, but the gnostic student must
help him/her self, [and] must concentrate
on the navel.

You must fall asleep singing the mantras
mentally, and when you find dozing, when
you feel that lassitude characteristic of
sleep you should imagine yourself to be a
breeze, a gas, something subtle, to feel
yourself to be completely aerial and etere-
ous, and in that state, feeling thus, aerial
and subtle, to forget the heaviness of the
physical body, think that you can fly
anywhere because you no longer have the
weight of any kind.

Forgetting your physical body, feeling like
a cloud, aroma, breeze, divine breath, you
should leap up from your bed. Do not try to
leap mentally; it is urgent that all of this is
translated into action, into concrete acts.

Once outside the physical body, leave your
house and direct yourself in the Astral
Body to the Gnostic Church, or to
whichever place you want. With the Astral
Body one can travel to other planets. With
the Astral Body one can visit the most
distant places of the Cosmos, the Mystery
Temples etc.

With the Astral Body the devotee will be
able to study the Akashic Records of
Nature, and know all past, present and
future events.

INDICACION ESPECIAL

Los mantrams para salir en Cuerpo Astral
tal como lo hemos enseado en nuestro
pasada seccin (Lakshmi) son maravillosos.
La invocacin al Maestro Lakshmi es
magnfica, maravillosa, pero el estudiante
gnstico debe ayudarse, debe concentrarse

quiera. Con Cuerpo Astral se puede viajar a
otros planetas, con Cuerpo Astral se pueden
visitar los sitios ms lejanos del Cosmos,
los Templos de Misterios, etc., etc.

Con Cuerpo Astral podr el devoto estudiar
los Registros Akhsicos de la Naturaleza, y
conocer todos los acontecimientos pasados,
presentes y futuros.
10
There is an oriental prophesy which states
that by the end of the twentieth century
scientists will have special radio-television
apparatus to study the Akashic Records of
Nature.

Then the whole of humanity will be able to
see on the screen all the history of Earth
and its races, all the living history of the
great Men like Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha,
Hermes, and Quetzalcoatl, etc..

Today man struggles to perfect the radio to
receive the discourses of the Christ, Cicero,
Orpheus etc.

These waves exist because nothing stops
vibrating in Nature, and it is only a matter
of perfecting the radio and the radio-
television.

The day is not far off, when man will
invent certain special lenses to see the
Astral Body and the astral plane.

The great White Lodge is initiating these
types of scientific inventions and
discoveries.

Samael Aun Weor

From Ch.4-5 of The Virgin of Carmen
and Ch. 32 of The Perfect Matrimony

Hay una profeca oriental que asegura que
a fines del siglo veinte los cientficos
tendrn aparatos radio televisores especia-

Budha, Hermes, Quetzalcoatl, etc.

cientficos.
