Complete Sports can reveal today that top officials of
Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, are pilling huge pressure on Super Eagles chief coach, Shuaibu Amodu to include a few members of the Golden Eaglets team that won silver medal at the recently held FIFA U-17 World Cup hosted by Nigeria last month.
The NFF officials, Complete Sports gathered wants some of
these players to train with the Eagles in Namibia and gather valuable experience that will come handy in future national assignments.
A decent source at the NFF revealed that Amodu was
swayed by the argument put forward by the NFF top shots including Sanni Abdulahi Lulu who, Complete Sports recalls practically forced erstwhile Eagles manager, Berti Vogts to include some members of the 2007 gold-winning Eaglets team in Eagles preparation for Ghana 2008 Africa Nations Cup.
Two players, Sanni Emmanuel who emerged the highest
goal scorer at the championships and the boy many Nigerians have labelled the ‘new Sunday Oliseh’, Ramon Azeez topped the list of players that will make the trip to Namibia.
