I would recommend the Quality Improvement Department at Horizon House, Inc. to future
interns interested in learning about outcomes and measures in human service programs. I
suggest that an internship take place more than one day a week to gain as much valuable
experience as possible. In order to be available for meetings and licensing on various days,
completing the internship more than one day a week will increase your knowledge and
experience. I also suggest not completing an internship at the place of regular employment.
This may limit your experience due to confidentiality and boundary issues within the
agency.
