In Photoshop, to create the aboriginal style of painting/drawing, I
used the dotted line tool to create the outlines of the shapes. For the colour of the bug which I was drawing in the picture, I used the tool which allows you to take a colour of the original painting and use it in the drawing. Thats where i got to in Photoshop. o!e of the !ain characteristics of Aboriginal paintings and pictures were" The use of contrasting colours. #otted lines and $lled lines for the outlines of a shape. They used sy!bols to represent certain things. They painted on al!ost e%erything including rock, bark, and e%en their bodies. The !ost di&cult part of recreating the Aboriginal art was $nding the right lines and dot si'es for the outlines. It was also hard $nding the best colour to !atch the original painting. It was also hard to draw the actual bug on the page and put the seg!ents in the correct place on the shape. The !ost interesting part of recreating the Aboriginal art was getting e%erything to look si!ilar to the original. It was also interesting learning how to create the sa!e efects on Photoshop as they were on the painting.
