TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. ATTENDENCE OF PIANO LESSONS

The Student:
If the student/parent/guardian needs to re-schedule, 48 hours notice is
required. I will then offer to:

If 48 hours notice is not given or that lesson is rescheduled more than once
then that lesson will be chargeable.
The Teacher:
We will give you 24 hours notice of any change to your scheduled lesson. We
will then either offer to:

Spread the missed lesson over other piano lessons

If for any reason we do not give the student/guardian/parent 24 hours notice

of any change in the scheduled lesson we will offer the above options and a
free piano lesson.
Once paid for we will offer all piano tuition under the above terms. All piano
lessons that have been paid for are non-refundable except for in extreme
circumstances (natural disasters/catastrophes/serious illness).
2. NON SPECIFIC STUDENT AND PIANO TEACHER RESPONSIBILTIES
The student/guardian/parent agrees that unless the student does as the piano
teacher asks during the course of their tuition progress is not guaranteed.
Practice is required each week in order to progress and your piano teacher
will advise on this.
An appropriate instrument needs to be made available for practice.
The student/guardian/parent will be responsible for any loss or damage
incurred to any instrument, accessory or music belonging to the teacher.
The piano teacher will not enter the student for any examination, festival,
competition or public performance without the approval of the
student/guardian/parent who books.
3. PARENTS/ GUARDIANS
If the student is under 18, their guardian or parent gives permission for the
piano teacher to teach the student and agrees on behalf of the student to the
terms and conditions laid out in this document.
4. PAYMENT
4 weeks advanced payment will be taken.

Piano lessons will only take place if already paid for (unless otherwise
agreed). If you have booked a block of lessons then you have to pay all of it
before the lesson.
The student/guardian/parent pays for any entry fees for examinations,
competitions or festivals before the entry is made.
The student/guardian/parent agrees to pay for any music and/or equipment
required.
Payment by cash is required.
