2Broke Girls presents the life of Max, a
poor waitress, Caroline and a rich girl that lost
everything due to a fraud of her father. The
two girls meet when Caroline starts working at
the restaurant where Max works, and Max asks
her to be her roommate. The owner of the
restaurant(Williamsburg Diner) where they
work is a Korean named Lee Han and along with
them are also Oleg, a Ukrainian sex-obsessed
cook, and Earl, a box of 75 and black. As time
passes, they become best friends and begin to
have a dream of opening a cupcake store, but
together they need $ 250,000, which is quite a
difficult task for both. At the end of each
episode is shown the amount of money they
have for the store opening, which does not
change much because of the various bills they
have to pay and surprises that happen with
them on a day-to-day. In the middle of the
first season Sophie a Polish immigrant who
becomes chief neighbor and part-time girls
appear. The funny parts of the series are when
Max teaches Caroline daily things that happen
in people's lives in a poor neighborhood, and
Caroline presenting to Max how to be a
sophisticated lady.

Han Lee, a small Korean-American and
the owner of the Williamsburg Diner.
Sophie Kaczynsk, a Polish lady and
neighbor of Max and Caroline.
