Hi Pedro,

We havent talked for such a long time! I cant believe a year has passed since you did your
exchange semester here. Do you miss Chile?
Let me update you about whats happening in my life. As you know, Im in my last year of my
economics major, so I will be graduating in December. Right now Im trying to decide what to do
after I graduate. My uncle works at Celulosa Arauco, so he can help me if I apply for a job in his
company. I like that idea, because I could start to make money right away I would be living close to
my family.
My other possibility is to continue studying after I graduate. I have applied to two graduate
programs, one in Santiago and the other in Spain, to get a Master in Economics. I hope I get
accepted! If I am accepted to either program, I might decide to keep studying. The program is that
I dont know if I want to wait two more years before I start to earn money. I also think it would be
hard to move so far away from my family. Its going to be difficult deciding what to do. I am happy
for speak with you.
Your friend,
Miguel.
