Book bag buddies is a program in which we send home weekend snack

meals with PLES students. Last year we were able to supply food for 45
students, and would like to help more this year. The program runs totally
on donations from the staff, students and community members. In order to
provide a variety of items, it would be helpful to donate items from the
grade level suggestion list, but all non-perishable (in-date) food items will
be graciously accepted. Please keep in mind that many of the children
prepare these meals themselves, so those that are individual servings, can
be easily opened and prepared in a microwave (or require no cooking) are
best.
