I will be hosting a class open house in my room at 6:00PM on Wednesday,

to give an overview of the new math curriculum and adopted materials,
give a demonstration of an AR quiz, and to show the websites and tools that we will
be using this school year in fifth grade.

Math: Work on memorizing all multiplication and division facts to 12. Look
for regular math homework on a day-by-day basis.
Spelling: Lesson 2, test on Friday. (The list is copied on the back of this page.)
Writing: One page describing what you would do if you could do ANYTHING in
the world for ONE HOUR ONLY. At the end of the hour, everything
would return as it had been at the beginning of the hour.
Reading: Read at least 3 hours a week at home. Check on your goal and your progress at ARs HomeConnect (https://hosted59.renlearn.com/343446/HomeConnect/Login.aspx). Read at least two hours over the course of the week, or about twenty
minutes a day.
