COMPREHENSION QUESTION:

1. How do learner learn in a constructivist approach to teaching and learning

- in my experience on constructivist teaching approach to the learning on how they can really
understand the topic the teacher always come back to the previous lesson before starting a new
lesson and in my experience after going back to the previous lesson there will be a graded recitation
wherein it can be a voluntary or picking of names in the index card and I think this one of the great
strategies so far that can be done in an online class or face to face, and it will not end in that way
there will be a communication between the teacher and student regarding to the curiosity of the the
student that must be answered by the teacher because when you are a constructivist teacher you
must have more knowledgeable skill, because this is an interection of both teacher and student
wherein they have the access to raise their hand to pause the lecture to ask a question everytime that
there are things who are not clear to them. By this the student not just learn from you lecture but
also gain self reflection toward to their own realization until the end of the class.

2. What do you think are gains of adopting a constructivist learning theory in classroom instruction
- for me it boost my self confidence to the point that I’m not doubted to ask question, to raise my
hand whenever I want to ask question because of not clearly understand the lesson or I may answer
question even if it’s right or wrong because a constructivist teacher understand you that everything is
always in the process. And as a student I can tell that I’m not afraid not like before that everything
you do, can easily recognize by a traditional teacher, they have a lot rules and regulation they really
implementing no eating, no chattin, which is when we didn’t understand the lesson we don’t really a
choice except to self learning, and the best thing the exist in an education is a constructivist theory
and teacher who is using this, because the weight that the student carries can affect their learning,
and can lessen there interest in way of thinking that education will be not be good on them(emotional
and mentaly) what will stay in their is there still gaining knowledge based on their perspective or
undertanding towards the lesson not to what the teacher teaches them. But what is the best that I
gain is freedom of expression without negative reaction to everyone

3. Can you think of challenges/encountered by teacher in implementing a constructivist approach in

curriculum and pedagogy?
- they abusing the teacher whose using a constructivist teaching because when the student knows
exactly that classroom is in a different implementation and no longer applying traditional teaching
they must change also their way on how they will encounter the lesson I know it’s not easy at first
that’s way a constructivist teacher will be making a strategy wherein they will be comfortable to the
new ways of learning, they maybe used an activity where physical body is the who will be present on
that activity but on the next lesson it will be their voices they may start by asking voluntarily but when
there’s no one who is answering they may still continuing the lesson and answer their own lesson and
the next thing that will happen is the student will be the one to raise their hand because this kind of
approach is basically on process depending on the student capacity it’s a matter of time, but what is
abusing in this part it is a way that the teacher is teaching and asking and still the student does’nt
want to participate it maybe hurtful to a teacher because they maybe think that the student doesnt’t
want her/him or they didn’t gets the lesson which can affect both side most specially to a teacher. But
we do have always a strategy a teacher will always have, they can used index card or a graded
recitation and even mentioned what would they get when they answered.
