To honor the art which often accompanies the best of Sex, Drugs & Rock "n' Roll, the Egan Gallery has
partnered with local musician, sound and lighting guru, Roy El Roy Zartman for a cult movie and gig poster
and memorabilia exhibition spanning Roy's massive 40+ years in the industry. Curated by local activist and Egan
Gallery owner, Stephan Bax Baxter, favoritism will surely be shown to the most outrageous work from each era.
The shows opening shall be held during Downtown Fullerton Art Walk on Friday August 1 from 6 10. The
closing reception will take place on Saturday August 23 from 6 9 pm. The gallery will also accommodate any
collectors requesting private tours. Please make arrangements via email to stephanbaxter@me.com for a fixed
appointment and private tour.

On display and for sale at the Egan during the month of August will be many original and numbered first run cult
classic film posters addressing topics such as sex crazed biker chicks and the evils of Mary Jane. These will be
hung along with dozens of original psychedelic gig posters and hand bills by the likes of by Rick Griffin from the
mid and late sixties, as well as other amazing rock and punk material picked up at some of the many gigs Roy
himself played and worked. There will also be many display cases of wrapped but unframed posters which guests
purchase at an even more reduced price. The psychedelic bands in particular their favorite artists to use on flyers
and the psychedelic era was rich in competition between artists attached to each of the bands. The posters on
display at this exhibit will represent the high water mark of cooperation between musicians and fine artists.
Everything on display will be an original printing and everything will be for sale well below the collectable retail
price.

The event is free and open to the public and prices of artwork will range from below $50 to $3,500.
The skies around the Magoski will be lit, the gallery walls will be transformed and both tea toddlers and 420
friendlies are welcome to enjoy this wild ride.
