! Students will work together to formulate and

agree upon a set of classroom rules.
! Daily Academic Choice or Activity time will be
established.
! Students will work in small groups as well as
individually, in pairs, and in the whole group.
! Games and group initiatives, including
debriefing and reflection time, will occur
regularly.
! A few curriculum sequences will begin.
! Students will regularly work, play, and socialize in
structured, teacher-supervised activities with a
range of classmates.



Math
! Students be able to classify objects into
given categories
! Students will begin learning how to sort
objects (other students and objects) by
one characteristic (color, size, shape,
weight, etc).
! Students will be able to describe objects in
the environment using names of shapes
and describe the relative positions of these
objects using terms such as above, next to,
in front of, behind, below, and beside.
